In this review, we will be looking at small wine coolers. For our purpose, we consider small wine coolers as anything that holds 8 bottles of wine or less. There are many different brands to choose from. Below we will review some of our favorites and others that are also popular.
The Wine Enthusiast – 6 Bottle Wine Cooler
Let’s start off by saying, this is an amazing little wine cooler. This 6 bottle cooler has a temperature setting range from 46 to 66 degrees Fahrenheit, has 3 pullout shelves and interior LED lighting. The Wine Enthusiast wine refrigerator is also one of the nicer units we have seen and looks great in a kitchen or bar. The black casing, with stainless steel trim, double-paned smoked glass and cool blue LED display at the top give it a sleek and classic design that you will be proud to have out on display.
Of all of the different sizes of Wine Enthusiast wine coolers available this one performs the best and at this inexpensive price range this one is an excellent buy. It cools your wine quickly, is very quiet and keeps a consistent cool temperature no matter what room you have it in.
If you are looking for a small wine cooler then this one is a perfect choice. Very reliable, quiet and inexpensive you get a lot for your money with the Wine Enthusiast 6 bottle wine cooler.
Haier 6-Bottle Wine Cellar
The Haier 6 Bottle wine cooler is a very nice machine. It has a very different look than the 8 bottle variety (see below), but is still very stylish. The unit is black with stainless steel trim, curved tinted glass door and has a red LED temperature display at the top. It is very compact and takes up very little room on a kitchen counter or shelf.
With how inexpensive this unit is, we weren’t expecting too much, but were pleasantly surprised. We were very happy with the performance of this little cooler. Temperatures can be set between 46 and 66 degrees Fahrenheit with the LED touch display. It cools the wine quickly and keeps a consistent temperature. The Haier wine cooler is also very quiet.
Overall we love this cooler. Inexpensive, quiet, looks great and keeps your wine cold. This is another very nice wine cooler in this price range. You can’t go wrong with this one.
Haier 8 Bottle Wine Cooler
If you are looking for a small wine fridge, this is another great choice. Haier is another brand that makes excellent cooling products and we are pleased with this model as well. The unit is all black with a tinted glass door and blue LED temperature display. It is a counter-top unit that you will definitely want to have out on display to impress your guests in your kitchen or bar.
The Haier HVTEC08ABS takes up very little space and runs very quietly. Cooling was fast, efficient and held a consistent temperature in all rooms we tested it in. It fits perfectly under a counter in a kitchen or even in a cupboard if you don’t want it to take up any counter space.
Frigidaire 8 Bottle Wine Cooler FWC084HM
The Fridgidaire FWC084HM wine cooler is another very popular cooler for use in the home. It is another counter-top fridge that you can display in the kitchen or bar area. It looks nice, but doesn’t have the same visual appeal as the Haier or Wine Enthusiast coolers. It also lays sideways and takes up a bit more space than some of the other units in this size category as well. If saving space is important to you , you might want to look at one of the other coolers on this page.
As far as performance goes, this wine cooler works really well. It is quiet, cools quickly and keeps your wine at a consistent temperature.
HOMEIMAGE 8 Bottle Thermal Electric Wine Cooler
Not knowing much about Homeimage we weren’t sure what to expect with the quality of their small wine coolers. One of the nicest things about this cooler is that you can set the temperature from 44 to 64 degrees, which is a couple of degrees lower than most other units on the market. If you love really cold wine, then that may be a deciding factor in your purchase.
It is a very nice compact size that doesn’t take up too much room and is also a nice looking unit that you won’t be embarrassed to have out on your kitchen counter. It has a slightly more boxy look than some of the others reviewed, but still looks great, is quiet and performs well.
6 Bottle Wine Coolers
If you are trying to decide between the two 6 bottle wine coolers, it really is a toss-up between the Haier and Wine Enthusiast coolers. However, since the Haier is cheaper we’ll give the nod to that one. Click here to see more information about the Haier wine cooler on Amazon.
